Longer Than Long Holidays (2) Gallop Stable - Punggol

They never get to meet the girls because of the weekend classes they attend, so when the holidays came by, they were happy to grab the opportunity to meet up.

Breakfast at Mushroom Cafe opposite the Sengkang Swimming Pool (50 Anchorvale Street), an al fresco eatery with reasonable prices. They paid about $20+ for 4 adults and 4 kids. There is also another branch located inside MacRitche Reservoir which the kids love too. Check out the Beef Stew and Curry Chicken when you pop in there for lunch or dinner!

Opening Hours can be found in the collage!

To the galloping stables they went!

Gallop Stables is located at 900 Punggol Road, the far end of Punggol, just next to the old jetty. They were pleasantly surprised to find a nice dining place called Bacon & Booze, and told themselves to check out the food after the horse rides.

Opening Hours: 8am - 8pm

$10 per horse ride with an estimate time of 3-5minutes.

In the office where they purchased the tickets there were cowboy hats and rugs with horses on them! Don't forget this lovely photo booth with cowgirl-ish props!

If you have noticed, a little one is missing from these pictures of her at the back of a horse, and so the eldest one could go another 2 rounds on her behalf! Sorry Mel, you will certainly muster enough courage the next round!

What a day. And now they are off to lunch!

Happy 48th Birthday Singapore! How do you feel when you spot a patriotic photo such as the one below? Does the pride overwhelm you as a citizen of a country that is a melting pot of diverse cultures yet maintaining its harmony as we, the people, stand as one especially on a day as important as this?

Wave the flags high, y'all!

The family will be catching the fireworks, and the kids are so looking forward to it!

^.^
