Is it the witness of the arrival of a little bundle of joy, or being at the bedside of the departure of a loved elderly?
Aren't both moments precious in their own ways?
Is it the instant the toddler learns to take his baby steps, or the grand-dad who needs crutches to aid in his walks?
Aren't they precious moments in equality?
Is it the journey from having the bathroom in one's pants to the declaration that undies are cool, or the acceptance of wearing diapers of the adult kind when one's bladder no longer served its functions?
Are they precious moments, too?
Is it the joy of walking down the aisle?
Is it the woe of a marriage breaking up?
Are they precious moments to remember and to hold dear to, too?
Is death as precious as life, knowing that the step to heaven is closer than one dared imagine?
Plants live, and they die.
Animals breathe, and they cease breathing.
So why is death such a morbid issue that no human enjoys discussing when the cognitive memories live forever?
Why fear when the goal of life is death?
Fear when you have lived an unlived life, a life without precious moments...
